The European Jiu-Jitsu League (EJiu) is a sports league created with the aim of enhancing the quality and professionalism of the sport of jiu-jitsu in Europe. The league organizes jiu-jitsu events in various cities, including Barcelona, Geneva, Zurich, Milan, Frankfurt, Eindhoven, and Amsterdam. The events follow a single elimination bracket for GI and Robin-round-style round system, where each competitor participates in a minimum of four matches. The final decision on the winner is based on the number of victories, with additional criteria such as points and head-to-head matchups being considered in case of a tie. This competition format aims to provide a high-quality experience and promote the professionalization of jiu-jitsu in Europe.
